Vargheden Sports Ground
Kolsva IF wants to develop Vargheden Sports Ground with a new illuminated track, accessible entrance, parking spaces for motorhomes, MTB trails, a new pump track, and contribute to biodiversity. An accessible sports ground for everyone.
About the project
Kolsva IF wants to develop Vargheden Sports Ground for those who live and work in the area, but also for visitors. The association has engaged in dialogue with the municipality, local entrepreneurs, and other sports clubs, all of whom are positive about the project and several are involved in the project. Through the Leader method, they will develop Vargheden Sports Ground with a new illuminated track, MTB trail, pump track, accessible entrance, and parking spaces for visitors.
Kolsva IF will also contribute to developing new environments that promote biodiversity. Machines used in the project are primarily powered by electricity, and contracted companies have a local connection.
The sports ground is run by a non-profit association and works hard to ensure that all children and young people, regardless of socioeconomic conditions and different backgrounds, origins, have a meaningful leisure time. The project also includes special initiatives for older people and people with disabilities. Just look at the opportunities with the association's bike taxi.
