Business development with local collaboration in focus

The creative of the old town is a shop and workshop in Köping, which turned to Leader when they were renovating their new premises. With the help of project support for businesses, they were able to hire craftsmen and purchase materials to create a beautiful shop space, which also included a meeting place for local businesses and associations.

SkultunaSpirit

New forms of collaboration to strengthen young people's belief in the future

Do you usually greet passing fellow humans in the village? It was a habit that the campaign Hello Skultuna wanted to encourage, in order to increase safety between the village's young and adults. The campaign was carried out within the leader project SkultunaSpirit, whose purpose is to strengthen the belief in the future among young people in Skultuna.

Lungers harbor

An expanded harbor for both locals and visitors

With the help of many volunteer hours and a strong local commitment, Lungers harbor's boat club expanded its guest harbor. With project support from Leader, they were able to provide more boat spaces for newcomers and better facilities for visitors from both sea and land. This, in turn, contributed to more visitors to the village and the local economy.

Grow Together Öråker

Folk education and permaculture for a more sustainable future

With the background of the ongoing climate crisis, the project Grow Together Öråker wanted to demonstrate how we can produce food in a more sustainable way. Using permaculture principles, they built a food park and forest garden together with the public. With their hands in the soil, they contributed not only to strengthening the biological diversity on the farm but also to spreading knowledge.
