Krägga
For increased accessibility and improved public health. In Krägga, property owners and residents collaborate so that more can utilize this scenic location. They will clear along the shoreline, establish a petanque court, and an outdoor gym. The old railway embankment will be transformed into a walking and cycling path to enable more sustainable travel for the stretch between Krägga and Bålsta.
About the project
Krägga Property Owners' Economic Association has been prioritized in Leader Mälardalen's decision meeting on October 29, 2023. When the board has chosen to prioritize a decision, the matter proceeds to the Swedish Board of Agriculture for a final decision.
The beach in Krägga will be cleared and tidied up. An outdoor gym and a petanque court will be established. Step three is the walking and cycling path. Everyone should participate and help out.
The project aims to enable everyone to take part in the area by making it more accessible while also improving
public health. The beach and beach park should offer visitors meaningful recreation where access to swimming and
training opportunities are gathered in one place.
The renovation of the railway embankment aims to ultimately allow safe cycling and walking to and from Bålsta
locality.
