Get started with your preparedness with support from Leader Mälardalen!

Leader Mälardalen wants to contribute to increasing the public's resilience against societal crises and can provide support for collaborative efforts, knowledge-enhancing initiatives, and smaller investments.

Right now, preparedness week is ongoing and we have some extra Small Project funds that will disappear at the turn of the year. Take the opportunity to use these for preparedness purposes!

Leader Mälardalen can provide support for collaborative efforts, knowledge-enhancing initiatives, and smaller investments. You can apply for a maximum of 50,000 kronor.

How is your community prepared in the event of a crisis? Do you need to strengthen the community in your area? Do you have a prepared gathering place where you live?

There must be collaboration in the project, but it is sufficient for one association, one network, or a group of people to collaborate in the project (no organization number is needed). There must also be a public benefit in the activity (it cannot only be about a company's or an association's own development or experience). Events need to be free.

Support can be given for example workshops or lectures on topics such as sustainable sewage systems, solar energy, or recycling of clothes. It can also involve practical collaborative activities, to utilize the resources and knowledge that already exist locally in new ways, such as community gardening and/or animal husbandry, or preparing a gathering place for preparedness purposes.

Support can also be given for the development of open and inclusive meeting places, local events, local tourism, for example based on nature and culture, local services, and initiatives that create a varied and meaningful leisure time. This can include the development of swimming areas, docks, and walking paths.

Small project funds are both simple and quick.
