Bodlängan

Harakers Bygdegård sought leader support for new electricity in Bodlängan, which is a very old building with a baking room, museums, storage, school museum, etc. The electricity is inadequate, and therefore the buildings cannot be used. Through these measures, the project creates conditions for both new and developing activities throughout Bodlängan. In connection with the development of electricity and heating supply, the project will develop the northern gable room in Bodlängan from its current storage space to a usable museum.

The purpose of the project is to make Harakersbygden even more attractive, both for residents and visitors. The association wants to continue renting out the baking room, develop the activity of flatbread baking by offering courses in flatbread baking, which has been requested for many years. The plan is also to open up and show the existing museum to the public ALL year round during our markets, which is possible if we have functioning heating. The items are preserved better with a functioning heating system. In connection with the project support, the Bygdegårdsföreningen wants Bodlängan to have the function of a gathering place for the community in the event of a crisis.
