MINI-MARKETS WITH PREPAREDNESS THEME

With the project ”Ready in Mälardalen,” we want to increase knowledge about preparedness issues among residents within the Leader Mälardalen area. The project aims to contribute to increased collaboration and strengthen engagement to further develop local preparedness work in the community.

As part of the project, we organize mini-markets with a preparedness theme at various local locations within the Leader Mälardalen area. The mini-markets are arranged in collaboration with local associations and give participants the opportunity to meet exhibitors focused on preparedness.

LOCAL MINI-FAIRS WITH A PREPAREDNESS THEME

In the project Ready in Mälardalen, we offer associations and groups in rural areas to collaborate with us to organize mini-fairs with a preparedness theme at local venues in our area. Together, we arrange an event that fits your needs.

  • We invite exhibitors who offer services or products related to preparedness.
  • The Civil Defense Association offers participants the opportunity to try practical exercises on-site (e.g., water purification, food storage, heating without electricity).
  • Local food and preparedness snacks
  • An activity for the whole family

Is your association interested in organizing a mini-fair in collaboration with us?

DO YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE AS AN EXHIBITOR?

Do you have products, services, knowledge, or activities that are in any way related to preparedness, safety, or sustainability? Then we would love to have you as an exhibitor!

Preparedness is about much more than crises. It is about community, knowledge, local engagement, technical solutions, smart products, and initiatives that make everyday life safer for more people.

As an exhibitor, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet an engaged audience that wants to learn more
  • Showcase your products and solutions
  • Create new collaborations
  • Inspire visitors to strengthen their own preparedness

You only need to have something that can be linked to preparedness – big or small. All knowledge and initiatives that contribute to a safe society are welcome.

The Harvest Market in Himmeta

Leader Mälardalen and Himmeta Community Center are jointly organizing a market that combines local producers with exhibitors working with various forms of preparedness.

Preparedness is about so much more than managing crises. It is about community, knowledge, local engagement, technical solutions, smart products, and initiatives that make everyday life safer for more people.

Therefore, we welcome a wide range of exhibitors here – local producers, businesses, associations, authorities, networks, and passionate individuals – who contribute in various ways to preparedness, safety, and sustainability. Local food is a central part of the preparedness work and thus has a natural place at the market.
