The Whole Earth

The Whole Earth is a regenerative farm operated in the form of a cooperative. The cultivation is located at Öråkers farm outside Kungsängen. We grow vegetables in the open field and in growing tunnels, using non-digging and non-toxic methods, with as little machinery operation as possible. The vegetables are sold in the form of community-supported agriculture, where about 50 members per year pay for a share of the harvest at the start of the season and then share the harvest from August to November. Some sales also occur to restaurants and in the Barn that is located on the farm where we lease our land.

At The Whole Earth, we want to find a way together where we can take responsibility for the world we live in. We are convinced that a transformation of our lifestyles is necessary, and we want to provide examples of this and explore methods to do so. We want to learn from each other, develop together, and invite others to be part of this journey and create shared experiences that we can carry with us into the future.

In the first years, our time has mainly been spent establishing the cultivation and finding the logistics around cultivation, harvesting, and deliveries. The part of the company that we are now developing further is the outward-facing folk education, with workshops, events, and courses.
